Let’s face it… Juicy Couture is a phenomenon. They just keep adding more fabulous items to their line--- from perfume, shoes, jewelry, and of course their sensational bags.
This company is based in Pacoima, California and their main secret lies in being stylish and contemporary – yet can be considered casual enough to be worn almost anywhere. They became a hit sensation with their velour tracksuits. Originally all the celebrities were photographed in their femininely sexy Juicy Couture velour tracksuits with "Juicy" across their famous derrières.
The company was founded by in 1994 by Pamela Skait-Levy and Gela Nash as Travis Jeans, which was a line of maternity jeans inspired by the lack of available trendy maternity wear. They moved on to sportswear, specifically tracksuits in velour, luxurious cashmere, terrycloth, and fleece, which were an immediate hit when stars began appearing all over the media in them. Pamela and Gela often dress alike and call each other Fluffy, hence the name of the fabulous "fluffy bag".
In 2002 they added collections for men and kids, accessories like handbags, and in 2004 added jewelry, including their signature charm collection. Liz Claiborn acquired Juicy Couture in 2003, but Pamela and Gela are still involved.
